Simple. Exclusive. Personal.

How Does Coaching Work?
Coaching is personalized - based on your goals, needs and preferences - and can include you, just two of you, or your whole household.

Think of it like having a nutrition guide and accountability partner right in your corner!

Coaching Includes:

-
Weekly or bi-weekly coaching sessions by video/phone
-
Ongoing text/email support between sessions
-
Personalized nutrition strategies, resources and support
-
Adjustments as schedules, goals and needs change
How I Coach
My coaching is grounded in evidence-based nutrition and behaviour change, with a focus on long-term results - not quick fixes, restrictive diets, or rapid weight loss.

The goal isn’t to tell you what you should be doing. It’s to help you build habits that actually work in your real life and to support you in creating lifelong health.
A Practical Real-Life Approach
We start by learning all about you. What's unique and what makes you tick. What works and what doesn't. What's bugging you and what's awesome. We start there and together, begin building a simple, exclusive and personal plan that fits into your life and feels right for you.

Your plan might include things like:
-
Meal planning when everyone in the household has different preferences
-
Creating your "emergency" meal plan for when things go sideways or you don't feel like cooking.
-
Learning how to make food choices on weekends, during travel and at social events that align with your goals
-
Addressing workout nutrition strategies for you and the kids
-
Healing your relationship with food
-
Incorporating realistic movement habits (like step goals, strength training or a 10-minute wind-down stretch routine)

A big part of my role is helping clients bridge the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it, especially when life gets busy, stressful or messy.

A Few FAQ's
Do you provide meal plans?
I don’t provide rigid meal plans.
Instead, I'll help you learn how to build meals confidently that work in your real life, with your preferences, schedule and goals. This approach supports long-term consistency and change rather than short-term compliance.
Do I have to track food, macros or calories?
No. Some clients may choose to use tracking tools short-term for awareness, but calorie or macro counting is not required. The focus is on habits, patterns, and skills, not numbers.
Do I have to cut out any foods?
No. A healthy diet and sustainable approach to eating includes ALL foods (even your favourite foods!) We'll work on balance, portioning, and consistency not restriction. For most clients, the first focus is on adding - ensuring that enough fruit and veggies are included. You may then find you have less room for the calorie dense foods!
Can you help with weight loss?
Yes. Weight loss can be a goal.
However, the focus is on building behaviours that support health and weight management over time, for the long-term. I want you to learn forever habits rather than temporary quick-fixes.
How long do clients usually work with you?
This varies. Most clients work with me for several months so they have time to build habits, practice skills, and feel confident continuing on their own. Sustainable change takes time, repetition and support across different life situations. Some clients return to coaching when new challenges arise.
Do you work with men?
Yes. While many of my clients are women, I work with adults of all genders, as well as couples and families with children of all ages.
Can you help me get started with fitness and exercise?
I can support you with physical activity guidance, habit-building, and helping exercise fit realistically into your life. If you need a very structured training plan or specific exercise programming, I may refer you to a qualified fitness professional. Nutrition coaching and fitness coaching often work best together.
Is this coaching virtual or in-person?
Coaching is primarily virtual. In-home kitchen coaching and cooking classes are available as optional add-ons for Calgary clients.
